Dr. Strange first opened Family Matters Psychological Services in 2005 and previously worked at United Summit Center and in a local group practice. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling from WVU and completed two doctoral degrees in Counseling Psychology and Developmental Psychology at WVU. She was a visiting faculty member at West Virginia University and has also taught at Glenville State College. She is also a WV State Supreme Court approved Family Court Mediator and is an instruction in the Family Court Mediator training program. She has given several professional talks on a variety of topics ranging from child development and parenting to professional ethics.
Dr. Strange is very active in her profession and has held elected positions in the West Virginia Play Therapy Association and the West Virginia Psychological Association. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and has specialization in psychological testing and school consultation.
